My Donation for the New York Nerdlesque Festival
April 28-29th is the New York Nerdlesque Festival. I volunteered the first two years and this year I am unable to attend so I made a donations of sock kittens, since I didn't have any money to donate.

The Kittening
Welcome to the Kittening!
What is the Kittening?
Last year kind of sucked. I know everyone jokes about bad last year was. My mother started out the year in the hospital and died May 3, 2016. Isn't wasn't unexpected she has been diagnosed in 2013 with stage 3 cancer. She survived a lot long then expected. At some point my mom decided "Fuck this" I have things to do. Finally the disease finally caught up with her.
Once I got back home from my mom memorial I started making sock kittens to keep myself busy. Then i found out people want to buy them. I have been making kittens ever since.
In honor of my mom I'm going to donate a minimum of 25 sock kittens. I will be donating my most popular size which is my mini kitten.
How can you help?
On may 3rd I will hosting a kitten crafting day. You can join me in crafting kittening starting at Cup a Joe's at Mission Valley. I will bring all the supplies needs and teach how to make kittens.
If there is interest I will host more kitty crafting days. more information to come about the kitten crafting days.
You can sponsor a kitten. For every 5.00 donate another kitten to add to the pile.
I will also in a few days create a tutorial if you want to create a kitten and get them to me so I can donate them at one time.
